1 δρυ-πετής
δρυ-πετής, ές, vom Baume fallend, bes. von überreifen Früchten, die ihrer Reise wegen von selbst abfallen, als v. l. für das vorige, obwohl die besseren mss. δρυπεπής haben. Moeris erkl. δρυπετής als attisch für πέπειρος, u. Luc. Lexiph. 13 sagt gesucht χαμαιπετεῖς ἐλαῖαι, was für die Form auf - τής zu sprechen scheint; vgl. noch Alciphr. 1, 21; – Ar. bei Ath. IV, 133 a sagt komisch ἑταῖραι δρυπετεῖς, die überreifen, verblühten.
